I have a feeling that I am going to LOVE writing my Extended Essay.
Despite the fact that it’s on a physics topic, meaning that I’ll barely pass. And that I have to write 3,000+ words. (that number could be wrong…)
MY TOPIC IS AWESOME! :D I’m doing a research paper on a new type of nuclear reactor that’s called the Traveling Wave Reactor, and I have a feeling that these things will be widely used for residential and industrial power someday. THAT’S how awesome this technology is. And why I’m so excited about something that’s going to ruin my summer.
- Me: What should I have for dinner?
- Mom: Have cereal!
- Me: Okay... *takes Lucky Charms out from closet*
Anonymous asked: 25. What's something you're currently worrying about?
My English grade… I constantly worry about it because it’s always my lowest grade. I’ve never been very good at English.
Crossin’ my fingas for an A!
Anonymous asked: 23. What is something that you miss?
This probably isn’t what you’re looking for, but I’d definitely have to say free time. I just have had SO much to do these last couple months, it’s ridiculous. And the fact that I’m a procrastinator doesn’t help me at all.
I am constantly worrying about homework, school (whether or not I’ll get an A in English, to be specific), sports, friends, etc. and I just want it to simmer down.
I can’t wait for summer.
Even better, I can’t wait until I’ve graduated college. And have a job where I don’t have to work after 5ish, and I DON’T BRING MY WORK HOME.
Gosh… That’ll be nice… Having time to read, spend time with friends, and learn about whatever I want? THAT is something I can’t wait for.
I got on a LONG tangent… Sorry about that…
Anonymous asked: 22. How are you doing, academically?
Well, I’m doing pretty well. Although English… Good gawd, I have a bad feeling about that grade… Also, I’m not pleased with my ACT and SAT results, soooo standardized testing not making me feel too smurt right now. :/
However, I still have a chance to be validictorian, so that’s a big ‘ol positive!
He… He… I have to much work to do right now… And I don’t want to do any of it…
Things that I learned:
1. High school dances are actually pretty fun! (despite the temperature of the room)
2. I am pretty darned good at dancing. (don’t mean to brag)
3. Scary movies really aren’t that scary. (see previous parentheses)
4. Chris Cavassa is a total beast at playing the guitar. I have a guitar that has the high E string missing, has terrible resonance, is small and meant for elementary school kids, and untunes itself literally instantly, yet he made it sound pretty darn good.
5. McDonald’s has slow service after midnight on Prom night.
Anonymous asked: 21. How do you hope your future will be?
Let’s see here:
1. Chemical engineering degree with minors in physics and a language (either Spanish or German), and I had at least one internship in college.
2. Job somehow working with alternative energy, preferably it’s association with transportation.
3. Active in helping my community, both through volunteering and political activism (yes, that is one way to help my community, don’t judge).
4. Own three dogs and a cat.
5 Run. A lot. I need to do that more.
6. An awesome wife that’s funny, smart and nice. :)
7. Three kids. I could settle for two though.
